LANSING, Mich. — The road through the high school football playoffs is now mapped for a long list of Greater Lansing teams after the Michigan High School Athletic Association released its bracket Sunday, Oct. 25.

Lansing Sexton, at 6-3, faces a tough trip to Dearborn Divine Child, an 8-1 club, in the opening round. The state association picked the top 32 teams per division in 11-player football by playoff-point average.

Unbeaten Grand Ledge, 9-0, gets a home date with 5-4 Rockford. DeWitt, 7-2, will welcome Lowell, while 8-1 Mason hosts Dexter. East Lansing slipped in at 4-5 and must travel to 7-2 Caledonia, and 5-4 Williamston heads to undefeated Goodrich.

In smaller divisions, 7-2 Dansville hosts Blanchard Montabella, which brings an 8-1 mark.

First-round games will be played Oct. 30 or Oct. 31. Host schools have until Monday to lock in the kickoff day and time.

Winners move on to district finals the following week, with state title games set for late November.
