EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State men’s basketball hosted On-Campus Media Day in East Lansing as the Spartans preview a 2026-27 season that tips Nov. 2 against Quinnipiac at the Breslin Center.

Local coverage said the program is carrying high expectations for another deep March run, with the NCAA Tournament’s final weekend scheduled in Detroit this season.

The tip against Quinnipiac is set for 7 p.m. at Breslin. Michigan State University, based in East Lansing, remains the region’s flagship Division I program as the capital-area sports calendar turns toward basketball.
